Looking for your writer’s groove? Join Janine Kovac of MoxieRoad Productions for a writing workshop using the Amherst Writers and Artists(AWA) generative writing method. In this two-hour session, we’ll write to prompts that tap into the creative unconscious and help unleash the stories within each of us. You’ll leave inspired, energized, and with the raw material to boost your stories for the next draft.
Perfect for poets, fiction writers, and memoirists of all levels.
About the facilitator: Janine Kovac has been a certified teacher of the AWA method since 2013. Elements of her book SPINNING: Choreography for Coming Home were originally written in the AWA workshops taught by Cary Tennis and by AWA founder Pat Schneider. She credits AWA with helping her establish a solid writing routine and finding homes for the little stories that get lodged in her brain.
The Amherst Writers & Artists’ philosophy is simple: every person is a writer, and every writer deserves a safe environment in which to experiment. AWA workshops follow a proven method that affirms writers by building confidence, creating an atmosphere of equal exploration, and protecting confidentiality.
